The career day included a rich variety of coaching workshops for young entrepreneurs seeking to launch a product or service; including presentation workshops, business case workshops and pitch presentation workshops. The mapubiLabs team received a donation of 20 computers from the Lufthansa group. The computers donation will be used by the various teams of the accelerated projects at mapubiLabs, as well as for training and certification purposes. We thank Lufthansa for this valuable donation. The first week was closed by a pitch presentation of the selected projects to be accelerated at our center during this year: Africa’s TalentHub, The SmartMobileClinic and the SmartGreenFactory.
Additionally the team of HelpAlliance was able to visit the sites of the EPAB(Ecole Pratique d’Agriculture de BINGUELA), the agriculture school partnering with the SmartGreenFactory project, as well as the SmartMobileClinic health campaign in the Bwambe village near Kribi and its neighboring pygmee settlement. The two intensive weeks were closed by a powerful coaching event day, with special guests: Mrs Ama TUTU MUNA former Minister of Art and Culture in Cameroon, Mr Abdel Rahmane DIOP, Chief of Diplomatic Mission of ONU Migration Cameroon, Mrs Laetitia NDJENG-NYOP, CEO Leed Advisory and Mr Romaric NWAFEU, CEO YAAHOT Hotel. The guests provided inspiring speeches to motivate the students and young entrepreneurs to work hard and impact their communities in Cameroon.
