What is Smart Mobile Clinic?
The Smart Mobile Clinic project is a citizen initiative aimed at providing accessible healthcare to all Cameroonians and, by extension, to all Africans.
Main Objective
To strengthen the capabilities of healthcare personnel in rural areas by connecting them with urban and international health professionals through a digital platform. Thus, the application leverages the potential of digitization to improve access to quality care despite the lack of infrastructure.
Mission
Our main mission is to guarantee access to quality healthcare in Africa for women and children. The mission can be broken down into:
– Strengthening the capabilities of healthcare personnel in rural and urban areas.
– Improving the infrastructure of rural health centers.
This is done through a digital platform that facilitates collaboration among healthcare professionals. The project also aims to provide emergency care without regard to the financial capacity of patients, ensuring that every individual receives the necessary care, regardless of their situation.
Vision
To become a versatile health coverage model in Africa, where every citizen, regardless of geographic location, has access to decent and appropriate healthcare. By relying on digitization and strengthening healthcare personnel at the community level, the project aspires to create an inclusive and effective healthcare system that meets the needs of the most vulnerable populations, while collaborating with local and international partners to maximize its impact.
