African Talent Hub
In January 2023, we organized an event at the Mapubi Labs center for the presentation of the Mapubi Talent Hub project. A chat day was organized on Saturday January 21, 2023 to discuss the advantages of the Talent Hub.
This day was marked by the presence of some personalities such as the Secretary General of CERAS Cameroon (Circle of Reflection and Social Support), an official of the Ministry of Basic Education in Cameroon, a community leader. There were also students and entrepreneurs.
The Head of Technology of Mapubi Labs, Mr Stanly MEDJO MFOU’OU, presented the MapubiLabs Talent Hub project with the detailed program, the duration of the training, the outlets and the objectives. The particularity of the project is the free training, accessibility to everyone (to graduates and without diplomas). The Mapubi Labs staff also has time to present the Mapubi Labs ecosystem, its partners and sponsors, its achievements. There was a brainstorming session on improving the Talent Hub project. All opinions and proposals have been collected for the future success of the project. In the end, several people signed up.
The month of February was particularly marked by the official launch of the MapubiLabs Talent Hub. After the Talent Hub chat day, following the proposals and suggestions made, on Saturday February 25, 2023 the CODING BOOT CAMP DAY was organized, in the center of Mapubi Labs at 9am. This day marked the start of the first Talent Hub course on Coding. This course was under the supervision of the Head of Technology Mr Stanly MEDJO. Other students registered today.
